How fast business finance works

Quick answer

You complete a 60-second online enquiry, share 3–6 months of business bank statements and your ID, and a lending specialist matches you to one of six products. Decisions can come back in as little as 4 hours, and once you're approved and the documents are signed, same-day funding is possible.

Getting business capital shouldn't feel like applying for a mortgage. Our process is built around three things: a short application, a small set of documents, and a fast, clear answer. Here's exactly what happens after you hit apply.

The whole journey at a glance

  1. Minute 1

Complete the 60-second online enquiry — amount, purpose and a few business details.

  2. Minutes later

Connect 3–6 months of business bank statements through a secure read-only link and send photo ID.

  3. Same day

A lending specialist walks you through the product and structure that fit.

  4. As little as 4 hours

Your decision comes back, with the amount, repayments and full cost laid out.

  5. Once you sign

Documents are e-signed and same-day funding is possible.

Step 1: Tell us what you need

The online enquiry takes about 60 seconds: how much you're after, what it's for, how long you've been trading, your monthly revenue and your contact details. It doesn't affect your credit score and it doesn't commit you to anything.

Step 2: Share your bank statements and ID

Bank statements tell the real story of a business — money in, money out, and how consistently it moves. Most applicants connect their business account through a secure, read-only link, which takes a couple of minutes and lets the assessment start straight away. You'll also need photo ID and your ABN or ACN. Borrowing over $150,000? Add your latest financial statements. The documents checklist covers everything by product.

Step 3: Match to the right product

A lending specialist talks you through which of our six products fits what you're funding:

If you're funding…The usual fitRange
Stock, wages, operations or growthSmall business loan$5k–$500k
Machinery, vehicles, tools or techEquipment finance$10k–$500k
Unpaid invoices to business customersInvoice financeUp to 85% of invoice value
Recurring or unpredictable cash gapsLine of credit$10k–$250k
A card-heavy business wanting flexible repaymentsMerchant cash advance$5k–$300k
A business under six months oldStartup loan$5k–$150k

Step 4: Get your decision

Decisions can come back in as little as 4 hours. You'll see the amount, the repayment schedule and the full cost in plain English. Every facility is priced on your business's situation, and we look for the sharpest option available for it — no teaser rates, no surprises at signing.

Step 5: Sign and get funded

Documents are signed electronically. Once everything is signed, same-day funding is possible. Equipment finance usually pays the supplier directly, and invoice finance advances against the invoices you nominate.

Questions we get asked

When does the 4-hour clock start?

From when your application is complete — the enquiry, your bank statements and your ID. Most delays come from waiting on a missing statement, so having everything ready is the single biggest thing you can do to speed things up.

Do I have to accept the offer?

No. You see the amount, the repayments and the full cost before you sign anything, and the decision is yours.

Is sharing my bank statements online safe?

Digital bank statement links are read-only: they let the assessor see transactions but can't move money, and you don't hand over your banking password to us. You can also upload PDF statements if you prefer.

What if I'm not approved?

Your lending specialist will tell you why where they can and what would change the answer — more trading history, a different product, or a smaller amount to start. Plenty of businesses come back a few months later and get a yes.

Can my accountant or bookkeeper help?

Yes. For loans over $150,000 we need financial statements, and your accountant is usually the fastest source. Many owners loop them in from the start.

Ready when your business is.
