Speed

How fast can I get a business loan?

Decisions can come through in as little as 4 hours once your enquiry, bank statements and ID are in. Once you're approved and the documents are signed, same-day funding is possible.

What's the fastest way to apply?

Apply early in the business day, connect your business bank account through the secure read-only link rather than uploading PDFs, have your photo ID ready and keep your phone nearby for the lending specialist's call.

What can slow a decision down?

Missing or incomplete bank statements, loans over $150,000 without financial statements ready, a business name that doesn't match the bank account, undisclosed existing loans, and waiting on a supplier invoice for equipment finance.

Can I apply outside business hours?

Yes — the online enquiry is open around the clock. Assessment and funding generally happen on business days.

Eligibility

Who is eligible?

Most products look for 6+ months of trading, $5,000+ in monthly revenue, an active ABN or ACN, an Australian resident director or owner, a business bank account and no undischarged bankruptcy.

Can a new business apply?

Yes. Our startup loans ($5k–$150k) are for businesses under six months old and are assessed case by case — the owners' experience, assets, any security and the plan all count.

Can I apply with bad credit?

Yes. Defaults and past credit problems are considered case by case alongside how your business is trading today. Being upfront about them from the start helps.

Can sole traders apply?

Yes. Sole traders, companies, partnerships and trusts can all apply, as long as the finance is for business purposes.

Do I need property as security?

Not usually. Most products are assessed on your trading and bank statements. Equipment finance generally uses the equipment itself as security.

Documents

What documents do I need?

3–6 months of business bank statements, photo ID and your ABN or ACN. Financial statements are only needed for loans over $150,000.

Do I need tax returns?

Not for most applications. Loans over $150,000 need financial statements, which your accountant can usually supply quickly.

Is sharing bank statements digitally safe?

The digital link is read-only: it lets the assessor view transactions but can't move money, and you don't give us your banking password. You can upload PDF statements instead if you prefer.

Products

How much can I borrow?

From $5,000 to $500,000 depending on the product: small business loans $5k–$500k, equipment finance $10k–$500k, invoice finance up to 85% of invoice value, lines of credit $10k–$250k, merchant cash advances $5k–$300k and startup loans $5k–$150k.

What's the difference between a loan and a line of credit?

A loan pays one lump sum that you repay on a schedule. A line of credit gives you a limit to draw from, repay and draw again, so you only use what you need.

How does a merchant cash advance get repaid?

Through an agreed share of your future card and EFTPOS takings, so repayments rise in busy periods and ease in quieter ones.

How does invoice finance work?

You receive up to 85% of the value of unpaid invoices to your business customers upfront, and the balance (less costs) when your customer pays.

Can I use more than one product?

Yes. A common pairing is equipment finance for a new machine plus a line of credit for day-to-day cash flow.

Costs and applying

What are your interest rates?

We don't publish rates because every facility is priced on your business's situation — the product, amount, trading history and any security. You see the full cost in writing before you sign, and we look for the sharpest option available.

Does the enquiry affect my credit score?

No. The 60-second enquiry doesn't affect your credit score.

Do I have to accept an offer?

No. There's no obligation. You review the offer and decide.

Is FastBiz Loans a bank?

No. We connect Australian businesses with business finance from our lending panel and guide you from enquiry to funding.

Do you offer personal loans?

No. We only arrange finance for business purposes.
